WTDTF seizes 83 weapons including machine gun

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Agents with the West Tennessee’s Drug Task Force, assisted by the Gibson County and Humboldt SWAT teams, make a major arrest.

A search warrant was served on March 7th at an address in the 60th block of Milan highway in Gibson County.

Authorities were on scene through the next day.

Agents searched a small U-Haul, a home, and a shop on the property.

“They served it on the home and behind the home simultaneously. One team on each building. Once they secured the locations, we went in and conducted our search,” said Johnie Carter, 28th Judicial District Director.

Carter says as a result, an arrest was made.

“Chris Faulkner was taken into custody in the residence on the scene,” said Carter.

The 44 year-old’s charges include, but are not limited to: money laundering, maintaining a drug house, simple possession, casual exchange, and having prohibited weapons.

Carter stated the investigation of the locations is closed, but the overall investigation continues.

“Once we terminated our search warrant there, the home was released back,” said Carter.

The items that were found at the scene included several guns.

“so we found 83 weapons. Of those weapons, one was modified to be a fully automatic machine gun,” said Carter.

Carter says guns weren’t the only things found.

“There was the butane honey oil, which is BHO, that’s the THC concentrates. They can concentrate THC into one substance up unto 90 percent,” said Carter.

Vehicles were also seized during the search.

“We seized a 2013 Jaguar and a 2020 Can-am motorcycle,” said Carter.

At this time, Faulkner is being held on a 250-thousand-dollar bond.
