Jackson native to lead Office of Financial Empowerment

JACKSON, Tenn. —  One Jackson native has just received a new job at Jackson city hall.

Tyler Carr has made his mark in the social services world for more than 10 years and is now excited to help even more members of the Jackson community.

Carr will be working in the Office of Financial Empowerment as the Director, helping educate those in the hub city.

Although some projects have already been established he is looking to help improve and learn more about this position.

Carr is also hopeful of executing a child’s saving account that non related family members are able to deposit.

“Being really thankful to the Lord that I have an opportunity to share with the community some of the different things I’ve learned. Some of the different things that I’ve been gifted with strengths and to be able to be in this spot and give that back to the Jackson residents which I love. I love Jackson,” said Carr.

Carr also invites you to check out their website in the upcoming months to see his progress.
