Madison County Election Commission certifies recent elections, plans for future
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Madison County Election Commission held a meeting today to certify recent elections.
The commission is in charge of holding all elections for Madison County whether municipal, state or county. Today’s goal was to set plans for the next meeting and certify recent elections.
“What we certified was the presidential preference primary and we certified a county primary as well,” said Lori Lott, Administrator of Elections for the Madison County Election Commission.
Everyone who won during the primary will advance and run against independents.
August 1st is the state & federal primary & general election, while November 5th is the state & federal general election.
The city of Three Way’s Mayoral and Alderman election will also be held on November 5th.
