Local shoppers enjoy Day 2 of Misfit Market

JACKSON, Tenn.—-Shoppers continue to search for items at one unique market.

The Misfit Market continues today at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson.

Today’s market opened at 11 this morning and continues until 6 pm this evening.

The event offers delicious food available for purchase, live music, and of course several vendors selling all types of various goods.

Vendors could be seen selling handmade jewelry, baked goods, oddities, exotic reptiles, plants and more.

Coordinators of the event say they organized the market to offer vendors that may not have a place to sell their items, a central location to gather and do just that.

“It’s a market where vendors who don’t have a necessary market around here, can come under one roof and everyone can come together at one time and shop everything. You get to meet other like people with other like vendors and similar items that don’t fit in in many places,” said Dustin Smith, Event Coordinator of Misfit Market.

This is the second year the event has been held in Jackson.
