Jackson Theatre Guild to present ‘Rumors’ at The Ned

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Theatre Guild is set to take the stage with a new production next month.

JTG will present “Rumors” by Neil Simon April 18-21 at The Ned, located at 314 East Main Street in Jackson.

As their tenth wedding anniversary party commences, Charlie lies bleeding in another room, and Myra, his wife is nowhere in sight. The first guests scramble to get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

The show, directed by Billy Worboys, will begin at 7:30 p.m. on April 18, 19, and 20, with 2 p.m. shows scheduled for April 20 and 21.

There will also be a preview party beginning at 6:30 p.m. on April 17, featuring hors d’oeuvres and libations while viewing the final dress rehearsal.
