JMCSS career fair highlights teaching opportunities
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local school system is looking for educators to join their team.

The Jackson-Madison County School System held a career fair at Liberty Technology High School today.
But the annual career fair was different from the past.
This event was only for educators, meaning anyone interested in a position like a teacher or school administrator.

Representatives from the district’s 26 schools were in attendance, along with members of the Human Capital Department.
“We are about a personal touch with Jackson-Madison County schools, and although there are plenty of positions that are on the website, this will give the candidate an opportunity to put a name with a face and make that personal touch with school administrators and school leaders,” said Diane Hicks Watkins, Chief Human Capital Officer of JMCSS.
On April 8th at Northside High School and April 10th at Southside High School, the school system will be hosting career fairs for non-certified positions like nutrition and transportation.
