JACKSON, Tenn. — Multiple Easter egg hunts and other activities for the family are happening this weekend.
Easter is a little over a week away so that means there are plenty of days to get some fun activities in for the family.
We have a long list of activities happening in more than a dozen counties in West Tennessee that welcome you and your family.
In Henderson County, you can find eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny at Beech Lake on March 30th at 10 a.m.
There will be four hunts for kids 5-years-old and older, up to age 15.
And in Carroll County, the 3rd annual Easter egg drop is Saturday, March 23, beginning at 9 a.m. at McKenzie City Park.
You can expect more than 50 thousand eggs and prizes, a visit with the Easter Bunny, a bounce house, and lots of more fun.
And here in Jackson, join the Madison County and the city’s Recreation and Parks Department and JPD for the annual Easter Extravaganza at Leeper Lane Park.
“We’ll have stations set up where you’ll play games, you’ll win your eggs your candy there,” said Community Engagement Director, Whitney Billingsley.
There will be a bounce house, egg scramble, and a sensory-inclusive egg hunt for those visually impaired.
The event is Saturday march 23rd beginning at 10 in the morning.
“We are asking that you bring your own Easter baskets or bag or whatever it is you would like to collect your eggs and candy in,” said Billingsley.
This is a community wide event for the entire family.
“Even if you do not meet the age requirements we are not turning anybody away,” said Billingsley.
All of these events are free to attend.
