St. Mary’s hosts annual Holy Week celebrations
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local event reminds us of the meaning of Easter.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church hosted their annual Holy Week.
Participants gathered to celebrate the first day of the four day event.
Dr. Adam Dooley, Pastor for Englewood Church, was the speaker today.
The celebration will continue Tuesday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be a different speaker at each celebration.
Lunch was also provided by Fellowship Church.
“Remembering all that he did to prepare for the cross. We call it holy week because it challenges us to look inward and apply the teachings of Christ to our own lives,” said Dr. Dooley.
A special offering was taken during service for Regional Inter-Faith Ministries.
