Agents uncover drug operation in Humboldt, three arrests made

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Authorities dismantled a drug operation in Humboldt, seizing various drugs, a weapon, and incriminating paraphernalia.

On March 26th, according to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force – 28th, 29th, 30th Districts, agents served a search warrant pursuant to an investigation.

Assisted by the Humboldt Police Department, agents with the WTDTF were able to survey the home prior to their search.

Agents were said to have observed heavy traffic throughout the house, with people making hand to hand transactions.

Once inside the house, agents stated they found a calendar with a list of clients.

The calendar also appeared to track money that was owed for drug purchases.

Agents were able to seize 2.0 grams of methamphetamine, 3/4 lbs. of marijuana, 3 sets of well used digital scales with various drug residues on them, multiple boxes of sandwich baggies, and several hundred dollars in cash.

They also found a loaded shotgun and an active police scanner set to the Humboldt Police frequency.

Agents stated they made 3 arrests in total, with 2 of the arrests being made for drug and weapons violations.

The final arrest was said to have been made due to the suspect having an active warrant.
