Financial Empowerment Center opens in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — If you are wanting to learn more about financial empowerment, we have information that you could use.

There was a ribbon cutting held at the Southwest Human Resource Agency in Brownsville Tuesday morning for a place you can go.

Whether you need to improve your credit score, pay down debt, or learn effective ways for purchasing your home, the Jackson Financial Empowerment Center can provide professional, one-on-one financial counseling to West Tennesseans for free.

“We help people with everything from debt reduction to credit improvement, home buying, student loans, savings increase. Really anything within the whole gamut of personal finance is fair game,” said Jordan Howerton, Manager of the FEC.

The Financial Empowerment Center can help you create a plan for your financial goals and walk each step of the plan with you until you reach your goals.
