From Frosty Cold Tonight To Warmer Late Week

Freeze Warning, Frost Advisory Ends Thursday Morning

A Freeze Warning  will take effect for most of West Tennessee after midnight tonight, and the rest of West Tennessee will be under a Frost Advisory. A high pressure system will allow temperatures to rebound quickly back into the 60s. For Easter Sunday, we could see temps climb into the low 80s. Expect another slight cooldown with some showers after the holiday. We’ll have the latest right here.

The more stable pattern will start us off with colder weather but as the high pressure continues to build in and center more over us, We’ll start to moderate some late week as a return flow of more southerly breezes kicks in. This pattern will set the stage for a warmer and dry pattern for Easter weekend.

Winds will drop down to around 5 mph from the north and temperatures will drop into the mid 30’s.  Patchy frost will likely develop from 4 am through 9 am in the morning so be sure to cover tender plants ahead.
