Easter fun continues at Falcon Ridge Farm

TOONE, Tenn. — From roosters to peacocks, one farm is continuing to welcome guests in for Easter fun.

Falcon Ridge Farm in Toone continued their Easter egg hunt week on Wednesday.

“With the Easter festival, with your admission, you get to hunt Easter eggs, all the kids will get to find 12 eggs, all of them have prizes,” said co-owner Bart Gilmer. “Then, the Easter Bunny is here and kids can visit and get their picture made with the Easter Bunny.”

Guests are also able to enjoy the other farm locals.

“Got lots of animals to pet in the petting zoo, as well as some animals outside, so we have lots of furry and feathered friends for you to visit, and good food,” Gilmer said.

As we traveled around the farm, we saw some of the other attractions, the playground, and the corn box included.

“The corn box is always really popular with the kids, and it’s basically just a giant box full of shelled corn” said Gilmer. “It’s similar to the sandbox except instead of sand, we have corn in there, and so the kids are always fascinated and have a lot of fun with it.”

We also went around to the Easter egg hunt area.

“When we get ready to go the Easter egg field, we will load up on the big wagon that’s pulled by the tractor, will ring the bell, and that way everybody knows that we’re leaving to go the Easter egg field. If you’re ready to hunt Easter eggs, you can come load on the wagon, and we’ll pull you out there and give you a few directions and the kids can hunt their Easter eggs.”

Falcon Ridge Farm will continue their Easter hunt Thursday, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and also Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The hunt takes place multiple times throughout the day.
