Drug Task Force seizes meth, marijuana, handgun during traffic stop
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WEST TENNESSEE DRUG TASK FORCE:

On Wednesday 3/27/24, Agents with the 28th District out of Crockett County conducted a traffic stop in Dyer County pursuant to an investigation that began in Friendship, Tn.
During the stop, Agents developed probable cause to conduct a search that led to the seizure of 1/2 ounce (16.8 grams) of methamphetamine, a loaded semi automatic handgun, personal use marijuana and more than $700.00 in suspected drug proceeds.
One male was arrested and charged with violation of Window Tint law, possession of schedule II with intent, simple possession of sch vi, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Agents were assisted with the investigation by the 29th Judicial District out of Dyersburg.
This case is being prosecuted by the office of Danny Goodman, Jr. the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District.
