Identities released of adult, child pulled from Tennessee River on Wednesday

PERRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Identities have been confirmed after two bodies were recovered from the Tennessee River on Wednesday.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the adult male has been identified as Michael Ryan Tucker (DOB: 9/12/92), and the child has been identified as Michael Allen Tucker (DOB: 9/28/19).

TBI shared that on Wednesday, at the request of 32nd Judicial District Attorney General Hans Schwendimann, TBI agents responded to the 3000 block of Cypress Creek Road in Linden in reference to a small child found in the river. The body of an adult male was also pulled from the river.

Authorities say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
