Children hunt for five thousand candy-filled eggs in Weakley County
GREENFIELD, Tenn. — The Greenfield Sports Complex in Weakley County held an Easter egg hunt today, March 29th, for children ages 12 and under.

Five-thousand eggs were hidden, all filled with candy.

Gift certificates and other prizes were given out as well, and children were able to take pictures with the Easter bunny.
Greenfield City Recorder Jerica Spikes shares more.
“We have the hooker farms petting zoo out of Milan and we have pope’s concessions that set up their sweet treat truck and a couple of rides for the little ones and then we have Coffee 731 that sets up to sell their items that they have,” said Spikes.

Organizers of the egg hunt say it’s good to see people having fun and hard work paying off.
