Local organization makes Easter ‘hoppy’ for kids
JACKSON, Tenn.—It was a day of Easter egg hunts across West Tennessee and one non-profit is playing their part in making Easter a little more “Hoppy” for local kids.
Urban Defense Gun Club hosted an Easter egg hunt today.
The hunt took place at Conger Park in Jackson and began at noon and lasted until 2. Several families came out to enjoy the fun filled event.
Guests who attended could enjoy a lunch of hotdogs, chips, and drinks along with candy eggs. The Easter Bunny even made an appearance to visit with everyone.
Members of the Urban Defense Gun Club tell us they enjoy offering events like these and giving back to the community.
“We’d like to thank the community for coming out and supporting us for this fourth year and thank everybody for coming out,” said Terrill Perry, President Urban Defense Gun Club.
The organization also plans to host a trunk or treat event in the fall.
