Body of missing man found in Perry County

PERRY COUNTY, Tenn.—The body of a missing man was found today in Perry county.

According to Perry county authorities, the body of James Wray was discovered today in a pond.

Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems says the body was located in a pond not far from the Tennessee River.

Authorities found identification on the man confirming him as Wray.

Sheriff Weems says they are processing the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Mr. Wray’s family has been notified.

Wray has been missing since February 6th, when he was last seen at Fat Man’s Gas Station near the Decatur-Perry county line.
