Denim & Pearls event returns to Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—For one local event, guests got to spend a night in Paris.
WRAP hosted their annual Denim and Pearls at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
The theme this year was “A Night in Paris.”
This allowed community members not only the opportunity to enjoy a night out, but this allowed WRAP to bring more awareness to the importance of what they do.
WRAP provides housing, offers counseling and helps those that deal with domestic violence.
A silent auction was held where all of the proceeds go to WRAP to continue their great work.
We spoke to Danielle Jones, the board chair, who stated that she is thankful for a unique position to see what WRAP does.
“When I speak about it, I can speak from first hand knowledge of what I’m saying because I see the advocates every day, day in and day out, doing what they can for victims,” Jones said.
A link to donate to WRAP can be found in the ‘Seen on 7’ section of our website.
