Fire departments respond to a brush fire in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—Multiple fire departments responded to a fire in a wooded section of northeast Jackson this evening.
The brush fire was located in the woods near a creek behind the address of 49 Old Hickory.
Jackson Fire Department and Madison County Fire Department responded to the scene.
We spoke to officials with the Jackson Fire Department who told us the Madison County Fire Department used water on brush trucks to fight the fire.
Jackson Fire Department responded around 7 in the evening.
They now say the fire is under control.
What caused the fire is still under investigation.
