Jax-Mac Festival debuts in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—If you wanted to dance, shop or grab a bite to eat, this local event had it all!
The Jax-Mac Festival took place at the Jackson Amphitheater.
This free family-friendly event was made possible thanks to the Love Your Block grant.
Participants had the opportunity to enjoy live music while sitting in their lawn chairs.
Some were even spotted eating while enjoying the tunes. Others enjoyed laying in the sun.
Vendors were available to purchase from, such as G-Pa’s Pork Rinds made by James Dupree, and Pink Zebra Home Fragrances.
One veteran, Willie Rainer was excited about the opportunity to show what he had to offer.
“I’m here local in Jackson. I’m at the flea market every month too as well. You can find me online at Big Willie’s Cigars, just google it. My Facebook group is Gotta Tap That Ash. So I’m on Facebook,” Rainer said.
Food trucks were also available to enjoy during the event.
