STAR Center announces ‘Pass It On Day,’ medical equipment giveaway

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE STAR CENTER:

The STAR Center’s Pass It On Day 2024 

Who do you know that could use medical equipment, technology, or low-vision devices to live  more independently? The STAR Center has a variety of gently used or new items that we want to  give away. Many times, insurance does not pay for durable medical equipment. Through a  partnership with the Tennessee Technology Access Program and donations from individuals and  businesses, we are able to provide items to individuals throughout the area for no cost. Examples  of items available include wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bedside commodes, shower  seats/benches, computer keyboards and mice, vision aids, and communication devices. 

The Pass It On Day will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The  STAR Center is located at 1119 Old Humboldt Road, Jackson, Tennessee. Parking and entrance  will be available at the rear parking lot.
