Jackson’s Art Walk makes grand return to Main Street

JACKSON, Tenn. — The First Friday Art Walk has returned for the first time this year.

It took place today, April 5, on Main Street in Downtown Jackson.

At the Art Walk, you can find art vendors, live music, food trucks and more.

The Jackson Arts Council made some changes since the last time they held the art walk.

They have now brought the artists outside and they are all on the same street.

This year, the Art Walk will be held on the first Friday of April, May and June, and the first Friday of September, October, and November.

“I’m just excited for the community to come together and showcase more of the talents that’s here in our area.” said Korean Harris, Owner of KC Apparels.

“I think this is vital to the community of Jackson. We’ve been needing something like this for a while. Something to do on Friday night. Come out and support your local artists and experience the culture,” said Morgan White, Executive Director for Jackson Arts Council.
