Clyde Brown Carpenter

Clyde Brown Carpenter, age 85, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was a patient of Pine Meadows Rehabilitation in Bolivar, Tennessee.

Clyde was born December 6, 1938 in Moscow, Tennessee, the son of the late Raymond Brown Carpenter and Ruth Buffaloe Henry. In his earlier days, he worked at H&C Table Company for over 20 years. He was an avid reader who loved history, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Sr., NASCAR and old black and white movies.

Clyde is survived by his sister, Connie Carpenter Horn of Collierville, TN and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Annie Ruth Lax of Jackson, TN.

Graveside Services for Clyde will be at 11 A.M. Friday, April 12, 2024 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Moscow.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
