River Rendezvous delights visitors with music, art, and more
SALTILLO, Tenn. — Today, April 12, was the first day of the 4th annual Tennessee River Rendezvous.
The two day event is a primitive art and weaponry history festival held at Smith Farms in Saltillo.
There are re-enactors, art and food vendors, and music with participants coming from as far away as Wisconsin and Alaska.
The goal of River Rendezvous is for people to experience true history.
Today, school kids were able to stop by.
“It’s quite an honor to say the least to be part of the kids’ education and for the Hardin County Superintendent allowing them to come and be part of it,” said Michael Fields, Event Founder and Organizer.
The free event continues through tomorrow, April 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the afternoon.
