Leadership Jackson Alumni Association presents first-ever Beer Run fundraiser
THREE WAY, Tenn.—Runners lace up their sneakers and make a mad dash for a brew.
This morning runners made their way across Middle Forks Bottoms Park in Three Way to take part in the first-ever Leadership Jackson Beer Run.
The unique event created by Leadership Jackson Alumni Association invited athletes 21-years-old and older to participate in a run where they not only enjoyed the beauty of the park but also could partake in a tasty beer along the way.
Runners began the run at 10 this morning and had the choice between alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy.
All the finishers from the run were presented with their very own custom designed glass.
“We’ve decided to switch things up this year and try to make it a really family-friendly, fun, event for everyone,” said Lauren Saliba, Director of Leadership Development.
Registration for the event was $25 and proceeds went to fund local scholarships.
