1 injured in east Jackson shooting, investigation underway
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left one injured.
According to the Jackson Police Department, officers responded to a report of a man shot around 10:35 p.m. April 18 in the 500 block of North Hays Avenue.
A press release states a victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries and was later released.
Police say an investigation into this shooting remains ongoing.
