PRESS RELEASE FROM BRAMBLETT GROUP:

Holy Ghost Stories LIVE: Experience the Exodus Tour in Jackson

Jackson, Tennessee — (April 19, 2024) — Master storyteller and creator of the popular storytelling podcast “Holy Ghost Stories,” Justin Gerhardt, and internationally acclaimed cellist Kendall Ramseur are traveling to West Tennessee to guide an audience through an immersive experience with the story of the Exodus. The one-night-only performance will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 7 p.m. at The Barn at Snider Farms (1998 Denmark-Jackson Rd, Denmark, Tennessee). Tickets may be purchased at https://tinyurl.com/ycyx52fe

“Holy Ghost Stories Live experiences are fresh ways of meeting God,” Gerhardt said. “You’ll find they’re part concert, part performance art, part campfire story and 100% divine encounter. These shows reliably provoke shared excitement, mutual tears and sighs heavy with praise and gratitude.”

“This show is about treating the stories of Scripture as portals that transport us into the presence of God — moments He invites us to enter, moments in which He meets us even now,” Gerhardt said. “The church is good at preaching and teaching these stories — but something magical happens when we tell them. That’s what people will experience at The Barn at Snider Farms. It will be a night of storytelling and song that leads you into an unforgettable encounter with the sea-splitting, freedom-bringing God of the Exodus.”

The second book of the Bible, Exodus, tells the story of Israelites’ liberation from slavery in Egypt, led by Moses, and their journey to Mount Sinai, where they receive the Ten Commandments and establish a covenant with God. Exodus explores themes of liberation, faith and divine intervention.

In preparation for the “Holy Ghost Stories” telling of the Exodus story, Gerhardt traveled to Egypt on a research trip. That experience included living in a Bedouin camp in the Sinai wilderness, scuba diving in the Red Sea and climbing Mount Sinai.

Cellist and composer Kendall Ramseur wrote the score for season four of “Holy Ghost Stories.” As his score does on the podcast, his live performance inspires and helps transport the audience into the story. The Jackson show is part of a three-state, five-city tour happening this month. Other venues include Huntsville, Alabama; Little Rock, Arkansas; Austin, Texas; and Fort Worth, Texas.
