Local non-profit cafe brings in new entertainment to enjoy
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local cafe is now offering a little something extra every Friday evening while you dine.
Hope Cafe and BBQ on South Royal street in Jackson is now featuring live music on Friday nights.
Tonight, April 19, the cafe’s theme was ‘bluegrass and fish fry, reeling in the good times.’
The featured music was courtesy of Blake Hopper and the Tennessee Tradition.
Organizers say the Hope Cafe and store, part of the Hope Recovery Center, not only meets the needs of its hungry customers, but also the needs of people who are searching for hope.
“Well the good thing about this, when you come here it’s for a good cause. It’s for men and women that are caught in the cycle of addiction. So you’re helping them in recovery to keep their sobriety,” said Executive Director for the Hop Recovery Center, Marcie Hendrick.
Next Friday night, Hope Cafe will once again feature live music, this time from the Kurt and Andrea Stephenson Band from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
