Weekend Events: Fun upcoming activities for all to enjoy
JACKSON, Tenn. — If you are looking for any weekend plans we have just the story for you.
The Hub City and surrounding counties have a jam packed weekend full of festivals and fun for families and friends.

SATURDAY EVENTS
- April 20, 7 am: Old Hickory Rotary Club’s Pancake Fundraiser, Located at Andrew Jackson Elementary. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
- April 20, 7 am: Hush Puppy 5k, located at the Henry County Fairgrounds. Participants can run or walk. Later that evening there will be a demolition derby at 7 pm. Gates open at 5 pm.
- April 20, 8 am: Crockett County Future Farmers of America ‘plant sale’, located at the entrance of the Crockett County High School.
- April 20, 9 am: Earth Day Festival, located at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
- April 20, 9 am: Arts and Crafts Festival, located at The Ledge in Spring Creek.
- April 20, 10 am: City of Bolivar’s Spring Fling, located in downtown Bolivar.
- April 20, 11am: Cruising Car Show fundraiser, located at VFW 1848 Post, Jackson.
- April 20, 11 am: Jackson Madison County School System Musical talent showcase, located at Old Hickory Mall in Jackson.
- April 20, 11 am: Lexington Police Department will have a basketball tournament that raises money towards ‘Shop With a Cop’, located at Lexington Middle School. Tickets are $5 and there will be concessions available for purchase as well.
- April 20, 11 am: Jackson Hemp Festival, located at the AMP in Jackson.
- April 20, 2 pm: Shrek Junior play performance, located at the first Methodist Church in Downtown Jackson.
- April 20, 3 pm: Jackson Choral Society will have their Spring Concert, located at First Baptist Church in Jackson. General Admission tickets are $20 while student tickets are $15.
- April 20, 3 pm: Crawfish Festival, located at Hub City Brewing in Jackson.
- April 20, 7 pm: The Jazz Foundation will have a performance, located at The Doubletree in Jackson.
SUNDAY EVENTS
- April 21, 12 pm: Arts and Crafts Festival, located at The Ledge in Spring Creek will be continuing for the second day.
- April 21, 2 pm: Brushes and Bottles event, located at Century Farm Winery in Jackson.
- April 21, 5 pm: A community cookout is being hosted, located at Destiny Church International in Jackson.
