Music and arts festival prepares for return to the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn. — A unique festival returns to celebrate art and music in the Hub City.

The Vintage Makers Music and Arts festival will be May 4th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and May 5th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hosted in Downtown Jackson at the West Tennessee Farmer’s Market and the AMP, the event is free and open to everyone.

The festival aims to showcase the creativity of the Jackson community.

“So we’ve got live music at the AMP on both days and then we have 65 plus vendors. Vintage resellers and we also have every medium of art you can think of. We’ve got crochet and paintings and some of my favorites are the vendors that take quilts and turn them into jackets,” said Co-Founder of Vintage Makers Fest, Lakyn Bowman.

There will also be food trucks and fun drinks from Hub City Brewing and Turntable.
