Clinic teaches more than just precise shooting
HOLLADAY, Tenn.—One special course teaches rifle owners a unique set of shooting skills.
Project Appleseed hosted a Marksman Clinic today at Tactical Response located at 7845 Birdsong Road in Holladay.
The two-day clinic began on Saturday and focused on teaching high level rifle shooting skills from multiple positions including standing, sitting, or kneeling.
The training also instructs users to accurately shoot up to 400 yards away and use a scope or sights.
The course also includes lessons on proper gun safety.
Participants learn about colonial history and why civil responsibilities are so essential to the independence and freedom of the American people.
The Project Appleseed is a non-profit composed of volunteers who believe the integrity and principles held by our forefathers should be carried forth for generations to come.
The cost for adult participants was 75 dollars, while youth under 18-years-old were admitted at 30 dollars.
