TONIGHT:
A cold front is on the way tonight and will bring a round of showers and weak storms with it. Severe weather or strong storms are not likely but some brief heavy rain and lightning will pop up for some of us. Chances for rain tonight is 80% for West Tennessee. Skies will remain cloudy but will begin to clear up some by early Tuesday morning. The winds will vary in direction as the front passes by and come out of the north by sunrise Tuesday. Tuesday night lows will be mild and dip down to around 60°.

TUESDAY:
The showers should wrap up by the time the sun comes up on Tuesday. The clouds will linger around in the morning but should clear out into the afternoon making for a really nice evening on Tuesday. The winds will be light between 5-10 MPH and come out of the north behind the front. Tuesday highs will approach 80° and Tuesday night lows will be nice and fall to the mid to upper 50s.

WEDNESDAY:
Wednesday looks like a really nice across all of West Tennessee. The front will push back to the north of us and the winds will return to the southwest into the afternoon. The southwest winds will warm us back up into the mid 80s. We should see a mostly sunny day and rain showers are not in the forecast for Wednesday. Wednesday will be a bit humid keeping overnight temperatures in the low 60s for Thursday morning.

THURSDAY:
Most of the day Thursday is going to be nice but a few late night showers or weak storms may try to move back in. Thursday is going to be a warm and humid day with highs in the mid to maybe even upper 80. The winds will stay out of the south all day keeping the humidity up. Clouds will build in as the day goes on and we are expecting a mostly cloudy night. Thursday night rain chances are 30% and temperatures overnight into Friday morning will fall down to the mid 60s.
FRIDAY:
Showers and storms are likely to develop and stick around most of the day on Friday. As of now it does not appear to be a big severe weather type system for us but some storms will be likely. We are going to be encountering a cloudy day and rain chances are 60% as of now. Friday will also be humid but a little cooler under the clouds and southwest winds. Friday highs will make it to the upper 70s and likely stay below 80°. Friday night lows will fall down to around 60° to kick off your weekend.
THE WEEKEND:
As of now the weekend isn’t looking too bad for us in West Tennessee. Highs will make it into the low 80s and morning lows will hang around 60°. The winds this weekend are expected to come out of the north for a while on Saturday before changing back to the south into the day on Sunday. We are likely going to dry Saturday unless a few of Friday’s rain showers still linger around into Saturday morning. Rain chances will increase some late in the day on Sunday with a few weak evening storms being a possibility. Rain chances on Sunday are only 20% though. There will be more clouds regardless on Sunday if we see the storms show up or not.
FINAL THOUGHT:
After a mostly dry weekend, rain showers and a few storms returned on Monday to West Tennessee as a cold front moved through. Behind the front, really nice weather is coming for the middle of the week before the next chances for rain and storms come back late in the work week. A mixed bag is on the way for the weekend as well. The current forecast keeps severe weather away from West Tennessee for the next 7 days but there will still be a few rounds of storms to move through.
