City of Jackson announces new podcast with unique insights

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you are curious to know more about who our city leaders are, here is a fun way to meet them.

Kenneth Cummings, Communications Director for the City of Jackson, has created the “East Main: 101” podcast.

The goal is to give the community an opportunity to meet and learn more about city government officials.

This podcast will be formatted similarly to school learning, teaching the public more about the Jackson city.

Episodes will be released on Thursdays on Spotify and their YouTube channel.

Their goal is for every viewer to meet city leaders from workers in City Hall to the Jackson Fire Department and many more.

“Just to be able to bring us in the 21st century of ‘I see the people working I want to get to know the people’, so that’s one thing I’m happy to be able to sit down with city employees to learn again more about them just as themselves people and what they do for the city,” said Cummings.
