Comedy show to benefit West Tennessee Veterans Coalition grant fund
JACKSON, Tenn. — The West Tennessee Veterans Coalition is looking to put on another fundraising event.
A comedy show, happening on Saturday, May 18 is coming to VFW 1848 in Jackson.
Carollyn Xavier will be the comedian performing.
This particular fundraiser will go towards the West Tennessee Veterans Coalition’s Veterans in Crisis grant fund.
This fund provides assistance with medication, transportation, housing, utilities, and groceries for veterans.
Their main fundraiser is the Military Ball.
Megan Holt with WTVC tells us why they chose to add this event.
“We just wanted to do something that was a little more casual,” Holt said. “That was a little more ‘come as you are’ for a night out in Jackson to support this event.”
