Local company honors employee for 60 years of service

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local company honors one of it’s employees at a special event.

Thomson Prestress, formerly known as Construction Products, LLC of Tennessee honored long-time worker Mr. James Johnson.

Johnson has been with the company for 60 of the 65 years that it has existed.

Before Johnson became the Superintendent of the plant, he had plenty of experience in other leadership roles including managing the asphalt plant to overseeing bridge crews.

Johnson was presented a plaque by the President of Thomson Prestress, Wade Thomson.

Thomson says in his years with the company, Johnson understood the importance of striving for excellence in any given tasks big or small.
