Suspect in drug dealing complaint arrested after attempting to flee

Agents with the 28th District out of Milan responded to a complaint of drug dealing on Rhodes St. [Thursday].
Upon arrival, Agents observed the suspect take off running into a home and Agents pursued. The suspect ran into a home and was observed throwing drugs before jumping into a bed where a 17 year old female was sleeping.
Agents took the suspect into custody without any further incident and recovered approximately 22 grams (3/4 ounces) of crack cocaine along with a knife used to cut off rocks of cocaine. There was cocaine residue on the blade.
Also recovered was more than $300 in drug proceeds.
One male, a resident of Elkhart, Indiana, was arrested on charges of possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and evading arrest.
The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District, Frederick Agee, is prosecuting this case.
