Teapot Parade returns to Trenton
TRENTON, Tenn.—Residents in one local city gather for the return of a special parade.
The city of Trenton gathered this morning for its 43rd Annual Teapot Festival Parade.
The parade began at the Trenton Elementary School located at 81 South College Street and made its way throughout the downtown area.
The parade had a large turn out and featured community members, first responders, several floats, and local bands. The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade was local native, John Dunagan.
The fun didn’t end with the parade, the town had several other events scheduled throughout the day including a carnival, food trucks, and a flea market.
Also as part of the Teapot festivities, Trenton will host a tractor & truck pull tonight.
That event will begin at 7 and is located at Shady Acres Park.
