7th annual Family Fun Fest returns to the Hub City

JACKSON, Tenn. — The 7th annual Family Fun Fest is set to get underway here in the Hub City this Saturday, May 11.

The event is sponsored by Area Relief Ministries, or ARM.

There will be a petting zoo, live music, food trucks, and more fun for you and your family to enjoy.

Admission is free, and families are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy a good time.

ARM serves 500 to 1-thousand people each year.

Their mission is to assist the homeless community in making positive changes.

Some changes include job training, placement and housing assistance.

“We’re a community grassroot organization been in Jackson for over 40 years, so, it’s all about the community without their support without them giving we wouldn’t be able to do the things we do,” said Fred McKinnie, with Area Relief Ministries.

ARM’s Family Fest will be located at the Amp at the Market in downtown Jackson this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
