Medicare 101 sessions in Jackson break down options

JACKSON, Tenn. — Peers join together at an informative event for an overview of Medicare benefits, supplemental insurance, Medicare advantage plans, prescription drug plans, and more.

The event took place at First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson.

The no-cost Medicare 101 informational session was held to learn more about your Medicare options.

The event was hosted by The Jackson Clinic and Senior Health Connect.

Officials say understanding and selecting Medicare coverage can be an overwhelming task.

“I believe that the community is growing in the awareness of Medicare,” said Ronnie Ragan, Owner, Senior Insurance Advisors. “We not only just do this one, but we do several throughout the month. And so we are just trying to bring better awareness to Medicare and how the Medicare plans work.”

Taking the first steps in Medicare enrollment might seem complicated, but you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

The Jackson Clinic wants to help you reach your health and wellness goals. You can reach out by calling (731) 461-5139.
