RMHC hosts inaugural Pop Tab Palooza in the Hub City
JACKSON, Tenn. — A unique event makes a stop in West Tennessee.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis and Jackson hosted the inaugural Pop Tab Palooza.
The event took place today, May 10, at Thomsen Farms, in the parking lot behind Mulligans.
The mission, that has been the foundation of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis since 1991, is moving its way into Jackson to serve the families of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
“It is so exciting to be a part of this. I have been working on this project for a few months now, and to see it come to life has just been so joyful for me, and I am humbled to be a part,” said Grace Beasley, Community Engagement Director for the Memphis-Jackson RMHC.
Officials say collecting pop tabs appeals to all ages and is a great way to bring together your community, company, school, club, church, neighborhood, or family.
