$50,000 Powerball winner in Knoxville, $50,000 Double Play winner in Cordova
KNOXVILLE/CORDOVA, Tenn.—Two lucky TN Lottery players each win $50,000 playing Saturday night’s (5/11/24) Powerball drawing and Double Play drawing.
According to the TN Lottery, one lucky player in Knoxville won $50,000 after they matched four of five white balls plus the Powerball from the drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Goodstop located at 410 Merchants Road in Knoxville.
Another lucky player in Cordova won $50,000 by playing Double Play. The player matched four of five balls and the Double Play Powerball in that drawing, which is held following the Powerball drawing.
For an additional $1, Double Play allows players a chance to win additional cash prizes, up to $10 million with their Powerball numbers.
The winning ticket was purchased at Breaktime Exxon located at 101 North Houston Levee Road in Cordova.
The Tennessee Lottery does not disclose further information until the winner comes forward and as always reminds players to participate responsibly.
The lottery program has raised more than $7 billion of funding for education programs, including college scholarships, grants and K-12 after-school programs.
