3rd Annual Mental Health Symposium to be held Saturday in Milan

MILAN, Tenn. — An event this weekend in Milan aims to bring awareness to mental illness.

The 3rd Annual Mental Health Symposium will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.

The community is invited to attend to connect with like-minded individuals and learn what it’s like living with mental illness.

The event will feature speakers Emma Shoaf, an Equestrian Trauma Therapist, Melinda Hardin, a Peer Support Specialist, and Gabe Howard, author and podcast host.

It will take place at the Milan First United Methodist Church, located at 2000 Jones Boulevard.

Lunch will be provided.
