Jackson’s City Hall AAPI celebration continues
JACKSON, Tenn. — This evening, May 17th, marks night three of one city’s celebration of culture and heritage.
A celebration for Asian American Pacific Islander Month was hosted tonight at Jackson City Hall.
Each Friday in May, guests have been able to enjoy presentations embracing Asian American and Pacific Islander cultures.
Tonight’s musical number was from Maria Teresa Castro.
There was also a traditional dance from Natasha Gupta and Navya Parashar.
All this month, there has been an art gallery displaying work from artists in the Jackson community.
Friday, May 31st, will be the last night of this celebration.
