Veterans coalition teams with Cajun Cookers for Boston butt sale

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local organization is selling barbecue to help support veterans.

The West Tennessee Veterans Coalition will team with Cajun Cookers, located in Three Way, to sell Boston butts.

This event will take place on June 14th and the price is $45 dollars a ticket.

Pick up time will begin at 9 am and end at 1 pm.

This year, the coalition will do pre-sale only for the barbecue.

The Co-Chair of the West TN Veterans Coalition, Larry Newsom, said that if you would like to purchase a ticket, you can do so by going to the Doubletree Hotel in Jackson, and asking for Mary Ross.

Newsom also stated that if you see any member of the coalition, you can also get a ticket from them.

“Our goal is to sell 300 and with the community’s support, we can meet that goal,” said Newsom.

All proceeds will go to programs that support events that are held on Veterans Day such as the Veterans Day Parade and the observance held at Englewood Baptist Church.
