Board of Commissioners appoints members in May meeting
JACKSON, Tenn. — The May meeting of the Madison County Board of Commissioners was held today, May 20.
The meeting was this morning, May 20, at the West Tennessee Research and Education Center.
Following announcements from the chairman, there was a report and presentations by the county mayor.
There was also a presentation from Madison County UT-TSU Extension Director, Kane Reeves.
Topics discussed included a rezone property, an economic impact plan for The Columns, and a resolution regarding county employee health insurance.
Nine members were appointed to the Environmental Advisory and Appeals Board, and seven members were appointed to the Madison County Property Code Enforcement Appeals Board.
Both boards have a one-year term limit.
