Officers in Parsons seize over 1,000 grams of meth, other drugs
PARSONS, Tenn. — Law enforcement agencies make an arrest following a drug investigation.

On Wednesday, May 22, deputies with the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, the Humphrey’s County Sheriff’s Office, and agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Johnny Swindle Road in Parsons.

The search warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation into alleged illegal narcotics sales.
During the search approximately 1,000 grams of methamphetamines, more than 200 grams of marijuana, 2 sets of digital scales, other drug paraphernalia, and almost $8,000 in cash were seized.
Officers arrested 47-year-old Mark Monroe.

He’s facing charges of possession of methamphetamines with intent to sell, one count of possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Monroe was transported to Decatur County Detention Center where he’s being held on a $200,000 bond.
