SWAT team searches home in east Jackson, two men arrested

JACKSON, Tenn. — In a developing story tonight on May 23, law enforcement descends on one Jackson neighborhood.

We first received this information thanks to our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters.

The scene took place this evening on a section of Carlos Street in east Jackson.

While at the scene, our crew saw neighbors outside of their homes wondering what was happening.

The Jackson Police Department and Jackson SWAT team were outside of one home taking items and placing them into evidence bags.

Investigators on the scene said two men were taken into custody; however, the suspects names haven’t been released at this time.

We did reach out to Jackson Police Department and are awaiting more information.
