TN Winegrowers Alliance to celebrate National Wine Day

JACKSON, Tenn. — National Wine Day is coming up Saturday, May 25th.

In honor, the Tennessee Farm Winegrowers Alliance toasts to the continued growth of Tennessee’s wine industry.

The success of Tennessee’s wine and grape industry is reflected in its economic contributions.

Wineries are projected to generate $76.6 million dollars in 2024, which will lead to an additional $46.9 million dollars in economic activity throughout the state.

“I would encourage everyone to support locally. Here in West Tennessee, we’ve got several wineries that have been around for a while, whether that is us, Century Farm Winery here in Jackson, Crown Winery in Humboldt, White Squirrel in Kenton,” said Bart Horton, owner of Century Farm Winery.

There are also a couple of newer wineries with Forty Cannons Winery in Henderson and Beau Monde Vineyards in Martin.
