Visit Jackson TN & the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development to Host Free Short-Term Rental Workshop
JACKSON, Tenn.—Visit Jackson TN will host a free short-term rental workshop on Wednesday, June 12 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Greater Jackson Chamber located at 197 Auditorium St, Jackson, TN 38301. This workshop is for individuals interested, or who currently own or operate vacation rental properties throughout the region.
Organized through a partnership with Visit Jackson TN and the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development, the workshop will be led by the Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association and includes an opportunity for participants to learn more about vacation rental markets, laws and regulations, customer service, and proper cleaning guidelines, as well as how to get started with rentals and enhance current properties. The workshop will also offer a question-and-answer session with local short-term rental experts from the West Tennessee area, and an opportunity to hear from local tourism and hospitality-related entities.

“Our workshops this past year were in high demand, and we’re excited to offer this series throughout Tennessee in different communities that have been noted for growth in the accommodations sector. We’ve conducted preliminary research, and both counties have a thriving short-term rental market due to their proximity to outdoor opportunities and urban landscapes,” Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association Executive Director Alicia Phelps said.
