Jackson Fire Department responds to large fire on Bemis Lane

JACKSON, Tenn. — We have an update on a fire that took place last night, May 28, on Bemis Lane in south Jackson.

According to the Jackson Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 9:54 p.m.

Officials say the structure on fire was a large auto repair shop.

JFD confirms there were no injuries.

Firefighters also responded to a second commercial fire on Campbell Street last night around 9:56 with no injuries.

The cause for both fires is under investigation by the Jackson Fire Marshal’s Office.
